Files, folders and big deliveries
Multiple files, one link
Add as many files as you like. They travel together as one transfer with a single download link. Your plan’s limit applies to the total size.
Folders keep their structure
Drop a folder and its subfolders arrive exactly as you organized them. That makes Send Atlas a good fit for DCPs, image sequences and project folders.
Large files
Big files are split into parts and uploaded in parallel, so you get the most out of your connection. Pro sends up to 1 TB in a single transfer.
Pause, resume, cancel
You can pause an upload and resume it later, or cancel it. Progress, speed and time remaining are shown as it goes.
Control who gets your files, and for how long
Turn these on from the feature tiles before you send. They’re included with a free account.
Password protection
Recipients must enter the password before they can see or download anything. Share the password separately from the link.
Link expiration
Choose how long the link works: up to 7 days on a free account, up to 30 days on Pro. After that the link stops working.
Download limit
Cap how many times the transfer can be downloaded, which is useful for one-off deliveries and sensitive files.
Notes
Add a message or instructions. Recipients see it on the download page.
Built for delivering client work
Delivery receipts Pro
Turn on Delivery Receipt, enter your email and your client’s, and you’ll get an email confirming when they download, with the time and the files they took.
Photo previews Pro
Select photos from your transfer for recipients to preview in the browser before downloading everything. This works for single files and multi-file transfers.
Custom branding Pro
In Settings, add your logo, accent color and background. Your download pages show your brand instead of ours.
Receive files Pro
Create a branded upload link (send-atlas.com/r/…) so clients and collaborators can send files to you without an account. Received files count toward your Active Storage.
Transfer history Pro
See every transfer you’ve sent, with search, filters, and download tracking for each file.
Active Storage Pro
Your files stay in Active Storage, so you can renew an expired link for up to 30 days at a time instead of uploading again. Pro includes 1 TB; you can expand it up to 5 TB for $20/TB per month, when you subscribe or any time from Settings → Billing. Files are deleted when you remove them or after 45 days without a download.
What your client sees
Open the link
No account and no app are needed. If the transfer has a password, they enter it first.
Download everything or pick files
Recipients can download individual files, everything at once, or (in supported browsers) the whole transfer straight into a folder with its structure intact.
Large single files
Big files download in parallel segments straight to disk, and if the connection drops they continue from where they stopped.
Optional stall emails
Recipients who aren’t signed in can enter an email address on the download page to be told if a download stalls, and again when it’s moving.
What happens if your internet cuts out
It waits, then carries on
If your connection drops mid-transfer, Send Atlas shows “Connection lost” and waits. When you’re back online it picks up where it stopped, with no restart from zero. You can also press Retry now.
Email if it stalls
When you’re signed in, you’ll get an email if a transfer makes no progress for about five minutes, and another when it’s moving again, so you can leave a big upload running.
Closed the tab?
Unfinished uploads are remembered for 24 hours in the same browser. Open Send Atlas, find the paused transfer and select the same file again to continue.
Keep the tab open
Transfers run in your browser, so keep the tab open and your computer awake until they finish.
Your dashboard
Copy or renew a link
From Transfer History, copy a transfer’s link at any time. On Pro, renew an expired link for up to 30 days while the files are still in Active Storage.
Delete files
Delete files from Active Storage to free up space. The transfer record stays in your history marked as deleted, and recipients see those files crossed out.
Branding and settings
Upload your logo, choose colors and switch between light and dark themes in Settings.

How your files are protected
Files are encrypted with AES-256 at rest and travel over TLS. They can only be downloaded through links you create, and you control passwords, expiry and download limits. Your files are never used for AI training or content analysis. Send Atlas isn’t end-to-end encrypted: like most transfer services, it holds the keys so recipients can download in a normal browser without extra software.
Guide FAQ
Do my recipients need an account?
No. Anyone with the link can download. If you set a password, they’ll need that too.
What happens if my internet drops during a transfer?
Send Atlas detects it, shows “Connection lost” and waits. When you’re back online, the upload or download carries on from where it stopped. Keep the tab open. Signed-in users also get an email if a transfer stalls for about five minutes, and another when it’s moving again.
I closed the tab mid-upload. Is my upload lost?
Not if you come back within 24 hours in the same browser. Open Send Atlas, find the paused transfer, and select the same file again. It continues from where it stopped.
How long are files kept?
Links last up to 24 hours without an account, up to 7 days with a free account, and up to 30 days on Pro. On Pro, files stay in Active Storage until you delete them or they go 45 days without a download, and you can renew an expired link while the files are still there.
Is there a per-gigabyte or per-download charge?
No. Free is free, and Pro is a flat $14.99/month however big your files are or however many times they’re downloaded.
Does Send Atlas use my files to train AI?
No. Your files aren’t used for AI training or content analysis.
Ready to send?
